About us
We founded the Kalocsaházi Kennel together with my parents in May 1994. At that time, when our first litter of puppies was born, their mother Alfonzina was 4 years old. In 1995 we bought three puppies from the Gáláns Kennel, namely Varázs, Vagabund and Zafir. Vagabund become one of the stars of the shows that significantly motivated us to do further consequent work.
Our successes in breeding were acknowledged by the results at shows, the dogs of the Kalocsaházi Kennel won lots of CAC, CACIB and winner of breed titles. Our proudest moments were when our dogs won Derby winner titles: Dély in 1996, Hencsi in 1997, Larissa in 1998, Omo in 1999 and Ursula in 2000. Our litter - named 'L' - is so far the most successful. Dogs of that litter have won three Interchampion titles so far. In 1999 we reached the rank of
Bronze Quality Master Stud Farm in 2001 we were awarded rank of Silver Quality Master
Stud Farm and in 2002
we were awarded rank of Golden Quality Master
Stud Farm.
For the successes we have had, many thanks go to the owners of the Gáláns Kennel - to Tünde and Péter - and, of course, their studs, Ava, Onyx, Basic and Zenit. And thanks to all Kalocsaházi dog owners, who took, take and in the future will take their dogs to shows.
